The venue the Hotel du Cap, in Antibes on the French Riviera is.
As the designer himself pointed out,
possibly the most expensive hotel in the world,
and he booked out the whole joint a year ago
for however many days it took to get this show on the runway.
Cruise 2012 collection is just amazing.

Ο χώρος ήταν στο ξενοδοχείο Du Cap, στην Αντίμπ στην Γαλλική Ριβιέρα.
Ο σχεδιαστής επεσήμανε,
ίσως το ποιο ακριβό ξενοδοχείο του κόσμου,
ενώ ο ίδιος είχε κλείσει τον έξω χώρο για το κοινό, ενα χρόνο πριν.
Ωστόσο χρειαστηκαν πολλές ημέρες για να στηθεί το runway.
Cruise 2012 είναι απλά καταπληκτική.

Decarnin says bye bye Balmain
It's official, the French fashion designer Balmain,
after five lucrative, statement-shouldered years,
Balmain and creative director Christophe Decarnin are getting a divorce.
Decarnin was notoriously absent from the Fall 2011 show in Paris under speculation of a mental break.
Who will be the successor? I will update you!
Είναι επίσημο, ο Γάλλος σχεδιαστής μόδας του οίκου Balmain, μετά από 5 χρόνια επιτυχίας στον οίκο, αποφασίζει να αφήσει τον κόσμο της μόδας.
Επόμενο ήταν, αφού στην collection Fall / Winter 2011/2012 ο ίδιος σχεδιαστής δεν εμφανίστηκε στο κλείσιμο αλλά ούτε και στα παρασκήνια και αυτό λόγω ασθενείας, κάποιοι την αποκάλεσαν "κατάθλιψη".
Ο Decarnin κατάφερε να αναγεννήσει τον οίκο και να τον προσθεσει στους top της τελευταίας δεκαετίας.
